The Account Manager’s role is to ensure that our design clients receive world-class service and communication; and that their expectations are exceeded as projects are delivered on time and on budget, while identifying future and ongoing project opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Liaison – in collaboration with Design Director & General Manager
- Understanding clients’ objectives and drafting strategically sound creative briefs
- Establishing clear lines of communication & expectations for each project
- Communicating all expectations, timelines, etc. via Basecamp consistently
- Formulating timing and budgets, and ensuring they are met
- Troubleshooting any problems which may arise to ensure a swift and good-natured resolution, while communicating issues to department leaders to keep them in the loop
Design Team Liaison:
- Tracking the progress of each project by creating and updating status reports
- Updating the Design Director on each project and its progress in relation to timeline and budget
- Keep copious notes and documentation of communicated expectations
General Project Management:
- Partnering with others to ensure the studio design group and its workflow run smoothly at all times
- Updating the General Manager on each project and its progress in relation to timeline and budget
Emcee11d Design New Business:
- Active in new business efforts to acquire new projects both externally from new clients, and internally from expanding our role and project-base with existing clients
- Respond to new business opportunities, and aid in the RFP response development process
- Develop relationships with clients to turn project-based engagements into on-going clients
